A very unique post war piece from Chester England. It is a 9ct gold etched locket.  Rectangular in shape and opens from the top.  The hallmarking inside the locket is clear Chester, 375 (9c) and date later 1949/50. It contains an original period lock of hair probably kept as a memento.
